Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
Theres no function for that as far as I know.
I just let them scroll off as I move on.
But it would be handy to be able to add/delete from the list I think.

If it really becomes annoying you could of course remove the recent file list from registry, either manually, merge an xxx.Reg file or use a bat file.
Located under this key.
HKey_Current_ User\Software\Acoustica\Mixcraft9\mru.x (x 1 to 9)
Or is not so annoying

Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
Reason it would be handy: Say I'm currently working on 5 projects - they all appear nicely in the dropdown. But recently I needed to go back to several backups of the same song, so all the backups now fill the display!
Thanks for the info, but I'm nowhere near techy enough to understand that solution. I was born pre-digital!

Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
I have occasionally in the past been known to fuss with the program files. But I found it a huge distraction and time suck, and concluded that most things like this just dont bother me that much.
But...
If someone figures out how to hide that silly new strip in the mixer view, nuke the oscilliscope, and a few other trivial items.... I might "go back in"

You know can hide the oscilloscope in the mixer, right? Click the little gear button.
Thanks for the suggestion on the recent list, Trevor. I'll update the feature request!

Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
As an additional option. I keep Mixcraft icon on my taskbar (Windows 10) and when I right-click on it, there's a list of recent files; up to 13, last count. That gives you a much better chance of seeing more projects.

Oh, and you can right-click on any of those projects and pin to or remove from the list.

Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
OH? This does not work for me (also WIN10) Here's what I get when I right click the taskbar icon.
And when I right click the Mixcraft logo from the menu...

Re: Delete Items From Recent Projects List
Did you just recently pin it to the taskbar or was it already there? If the former, you would have to start running projects and they will accumulate. If it's the latter, you might have to click a setting. Not sure what that is though.
