Project Files Corrupting

Post by kenrob2037 »

Hi All,

I'm getting a problem, which may be a Windows thing, but when I open a Mixcraft project that I have dropped on my desktop from my backup USB drive, the audio tracks in the project are corrupting. The midi tracks are fine. Have a look at the two screenshots, at the right hand side of 1, you will see how it has started again near the end, but in 2, the original file which is opened from the USB backup drive is fine.

I easily fix this by saving from my backup to my PC, but I wonder why the audio tracks are corrupting?

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Are you bringing along the audio files from the USB drive? Mixcraft might be finding a different file with the same name.

Yes, everything is in the one folder that I drop onto the desktop. It is the right audio file, it's just automatically rearranging it. I'm going to assume it's a Windows glitch. Trouble is, some of my cloud back ups now have these corrupt files.

Cheers,
