Someone recommended adding more saturation to my vocals, but I don't know what that is. Is this a dedicated plug in that simply doesn't come from Mixcraft, or is it an effect that you can get with the standard Mixcraft plugins.
I am interested in both recommendations for 3rd party plugins, and for tips on using existing plugins to achieve saturation.
Thanks for any help!

Check out the various "tube" effects in Mixcraft, and the TB Ferox Tape Emulator.

Re: Saturation
Thanks. I will. But I don't think I understand what I am after. What is "saturation?" A quality of "tube" amps now emulated in digital?

Do not think of it as a tube amp that is overdriven, think of it as a mild subtle distortion that makes the sound richer, punchier, and fuller by adding harmonics to the signal.
A good free one is the one by Softube.
