Tempo Change Problem
When I try to change tempo, some of my clips shift off of the grid. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Tempo Change Problem
Hi,
When you adjust tempo, you're changing the time it takes for the song to play, so it's normal for the length of clips to change.

Re: Tempo Change Problem
So the solution is to just go back and move the clips back where I want them?
Thanks for responding so quickly.

Re: Tempo Change Problem
You shouldn't have to move clips. If you are on measure 30 and you change the tempo from 180 to 100, the measures will get longer and the area you were just changing might jump out of view depending on your zoom settings, but the clip will still start at measure 30. You just have to scroll to that spot.
If you change the time signature, however then the clips won't line up with the measures any more because the beats per measure have changed.
