Scenario:
I am not making music but audible soundscapes for tabletop gaming, all made from many environmental and ambient sounds.
I have a cracking fire, that when I loop it in Audacity, it sounds great - no click, but when I add it to MC, and then drag the right end of the file to make it play longer to fit the scene, I hear a click every time it loops.
I have not been able to figure out why or the fix.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Clicking during loops
Hi,
What type of file is it? MP3 files can introduce clicks when you loop them because there is a slight dropout where the MP3 header is located. It's better to use wav files or ogg files for loops.
If that's not it, increase the track height and zoom in on the start and then end of the clip. Add a tiny fade, or turn the Micro Fade option for the clip (Sound Tab > Audio Tab > Micro Fade In / Micro Fade Out).

Re: Clicking during loops
Thanks, I was unaware of that little fade in/out feature. Very helpful!
