Hi all, getting my feet on the ground writing midi parts, going well.
My question relates to using the notes values along the top of the GUI. (Screen shot) I do understand that by changing this I can change note duration, and also have clicked/dragged notes to change duration.
That said, when I am tweaking a midi part the duration can be unexpected. Sometimes I click into a midi clip to add a note, and one time it will be a whole note, the next time a sixteenth - without me changing the note value. In the second screen shot I show this, closed hat is longer than hat pedal, etc. (I did these manually to show here, because I can't predict when this will happen to me in advance).
Is there a "default" setting that this always starts up at? Or, does it reset once you are out of a particular clip and return?
Thanks!

Re: Midi note GUI note value question
Hi,
It remembers the last duration you used, so if you drag a note out, the next note will be longer as well.
