Seems I've been doing circles with some version of this question so here's the latest go:
Why is it that after I load a song from an external drive it isn't saving to the Documents folder like it would if I just opened and created a new file? I've opened a couple of songs and hit Save, and Save As, but when I returned and opened the files using this chain of events: This PC - Documents - Mixcraft Projects - Song - no audio came up.
To maybe ask another way -
How do I open, tweak, and save a file that's imported from the external drive?
Thanks

HI,
Mixcraft just remembers where the sound file is, it doesn't move the file, unless you choose that option from the file menu. Why don't you just copy the audio files from the external drive into your project folder?

So once I'm working on a file where will the save location be? When I click Save will it save to the Documents folder?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Hi,
The files you record in Mixcraft are in your project folder. Files that you load from different locations will still be in those locations, even after you save.
