Hi Guys!
Can't seem to find a way to save some existing track effects as a chain. I can see how to create a new chain, but say I had something from a previous project (guitar effects, compressor and EQ for example) and wanted to use those settings in a new project. Any way I could do this?

Hi,
Just click FX to open the FX dialog and hit the option to save the preset (shown below).

DOH! So obvious!
I actually tried that, saved it with a name but couldn't find it again. Must have fluffed something up but all good now thanks Greg.

Re: Save Effects Chain
The saved presets do have a way of blending in and disappearing into the void...
Stick with it, you'll see where they hide.

Re: Save Effects Chain
I just listened to that quick effects chain I threw together for the image, and it's ridiculous.

Yeah, but you tried.
Sometimes ridiculous is the goal though, no?
Depends on the genre perhaps.
For my needs the processors and effects vary quite specifically in the moment and such chain presets arent frequently useful to be honest.
Sometimes a starting point.
Sometimes a "what was I thinking that day" moment.

First time I've ever felt the need... I was trying to get as close as possible to my last project 60's Strat tone. And as it turned out, it required quite a bit of tweaking and even the removal of some elements. Overall, I'm very happy with the stock presets.
And thanks again Greg for your help - you da man!

Re: Save Effects Chain
I usually save my signal chains with MY in front of whatever I title it. That way I can always find it amongst the other chains.
