The software developers definitely appreciate having a straightforward video demonstrating the problem. Thanks!RaveyDavey wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 6:26 pm Yes,
I wanted it as basic and simple as it gets but demos the issue and is repeatable. My first ever Youtube video

Re: Playback
Hi,
1. Playback cursor is not always synced with the plugin.
2. When you loop, the audio cuts out.
I have exactly the same problems.Playback cursor does not always sync with the plugin - if you rewind/fast forward on the transport bar sometimes it resyncs sometimes it does not. Looping does seem to be a problem if you have chords numbered 1 2 3 4 - when looping is set playback skips 1 but plays back 2,3,4
With the screendump, with 1 one chord you get mostly silence.

Hi,
Eric, have you tested with the latest build of Mixcraft 9 and the last build of Captain Plugins ?
It seems to work better, I don't know if it comes from Mixcraft or Captain Plugins or the two together.
Is it difficult for Mixcraft developers to be able to start audio playback without a clip on a track ?

Re: Playback
HI Team,
Was there ever a solution to this?
I was wondering since I have the same issue with Captain Plugins/Mixed in Keys and MX9 PS.
I can't seem to have it play back.
I reached out to support and they told me to hit space.
Hitting space key did not do anything.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Hi Greg,
Sorry about that. Thank you for the solution by the way!
Here is what you have posted via email:
1. Double-click on the empty virtual instrument track that has Captain Keys to add a blank clip.
2. Drag the end of the MIDI clip to the right as far as you want Mixcraft to play.
3. Now play the project.
Hit play or hit space. Anyone who is reading this, pretty much needs that midi/blue space on the track in order to play something.
Happy Mixing!
