A light jazz tune

Post by w1av »

I recorded this late one night while vacationing up in New Hampshire in 2018. I smuggled a small computer and midi keyboard along with me. Used Mixcraft to record this which was just improvised in the natural minor scale. The drum track was something I found on another PC. The timing is odd in spots so I had to work around this, hence the title. I also recorded a part II to this song later on. https://collectibles.bandcamp.com/track ... outta-time

Well, you must have been a bit preoccupied on that vacation...

I appreciate the effort it must have taken to work around the odd meter moments in the existing drum track. I can personally appreciate how hard that can be to pull off.
Tasty result. Very nice.
Stay in tune, Mark

It was a little tricky, plus it was about 1am and I was very tired after a day of kayaking. That drum track sounded good to me so I was determined to make some use of it. Hey I also checked out your Soundcloud page. Very nice collection of different kinds of music. I loved the country stuff!!! Good production too. Keep rockin'
