Fade out in a Midi clip

Post by Barth »

Hi!
I have done a fade out in a clip, but when playing back, not only did it fade out the clip but it also faded out another clip that was on the same track, whose sound also dissapeared.

Is like fade out the track instead of just the clip.

So I wanted to know if it is possible to fade in/out in only one clip, without affecting other clips on the same track.

I also ask how to delete a fade in/out, since I haven't found the way.

Regards.

Hi,

That's just the way it works with MIDI. There's no way to tell the virtual instrument to pay attention to some MIDI notes and not others, unless you're using a multi-timbral instrument that can handle multiple MIDI inputs on different channels.

You could put that clip on a different track.

Okay Greg, I'll do that.
I've tried it on a different track and it works fine.
Thanks.
