Change measure offset after new marker?

Post by inertias »

Hi,

I want the transition in my song to finish before the current measure ends, but this makes things confusing since now the next section of the song will not start at the beginning of a measure. Can we offset the measures such that they start at the marker? So for example, measure 32 would move to the left where the marker is in the picture.

Thank you

Highlight the area between your marker and measure 32 in the timeline.
Right click and select 'Remove selected time'.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

Another tid-bit, you can expand or reduce beats between measures with markers by changing the time signature. Just say you wanted a two beat pause before the next section but wanted to be sure it started on measure 32:

I feel stupid for not thinking of this :| this is the easiest solution for me.

Thanks to both of you :)
