Crop Video?
Is there a way to crop a video in Mixcraft? I would just like for the center of the video to be shown, so maybe with a zoom option that eliminates the sides?
Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions!

I don't think it can be done in Mixcraft, but am not sure. It seems there are plenty of other options. Have a look:

Doesn't that sound simply super

Of course we all know very well it wouldn't work but what the hell

Re: Crop Video?
If you want to crop the video, there is no specific crop screen, but you can find the edit point you want by zooming in, then drag the start point from the left to the right, to start at the later point (or drag left from the end). You can then just drag the clip into place when you've got the start and end points sorted out. It's not a very visually precise process, but it works. It's easier than exporting and using other software, unless you have your favourite video software to hand.

Re: Crop Video?
It's 2020 and I'm still stuck on this issue - how to crop a video, not using those third-parties.
My dad recorded a video of me swimming - about 30 mins, and his index finger was accidentally included in the vid. The good thing is that the finger did not show up too long, only several frames. Is there a way I can remove fingers from only that part of the vid without changing the whole aspect ratio?
Update: Just now, I read about using cropping tools to solve this issue. https://www.videoproc.com/video-editor/ ... ropper.htm But, I'm still not sure if they can truly help since I do not want to crop the whole video. Just maybe 7-8 frames long...

Re: Crop Video?
IF it's only a few few frames why not cut out those frames entirely, should only loose a fraction of a second in the video
Re: Crop Video?
Yup, I tried cutting out that part... But from my moves, you can tell a noticeable jump of frames.
Thank you, anyway. Or maybe I should just calm my nerves and put up with that.
Re: Crop Video?
Maybe use a video effect or photo to hide the edit/frame jump?

Mixcraft 9 provides the option to crop a video. Here's how you can do it:
Load the video into the timeline.
Right-click on the video clip and select "Properties."
In the properties window, go to the "Video" tab.
Under the "Cropping" section, you will see two sliders for "Left" and "Right."
Adjust the sliders to crop the sides of the video as desired. The center of the video will be shown, and the sides will be eliminated.
Note: Mixcraft 9 does not have a zoom option for videos. The cropping feature is the closest option available for achieving a zoomed-in effect.
