Vocoder Not working

Hi,
I have watched the video and read the manual but cannot get the Vocoder working.
I have good level on the mic channel (Modulator) child track but no level on the Modulator input on the Vocoder.
I have level on the Carrier input on the Vocoder when pressing keys on the keyboard.
I have tried with pre-recorded audio and live vocals but cannot get the effect to work. What am i missing??

Hi,

You're using a vocoder track? Is it set up like the one in the image below? You need an audio clip on the Modulator track and MIDI on the Carrier track.
