Toneboosters Plugin Updates - SOLVED

Post by ppayne »

Hi Greg,

Can you tell me if we will get newer plugins like Baricade 4 or Morphit from Toneboosters in a future version of Mixcraft?

I'm looking to get the Morphit plugin from TB and just want to make sure I don't end up getting it with Mixcraft anyway.

Best regards
Patrick

Are we sure that MC 10 is going to still be using TB vst?

All the TB plugins are free to use. It's just that the v4's have a nag screen and it's said they won't allow you to save presets. Although I have saved two presets in Morphit for both pairs of headphones I use.

In fact, all version 3 plugins from TB are free. I thought MC had a deal with TB. Then that actually answers my question.

Hey Trevor,

What's your experience with Morphit, is it really useful for headphone mixing?

I only ever use my Sennheiser HD650's for mixing and mastering, Patrick.

Here's the correction curve it gives me.

Thanks Trevor,

Sounds like you're actually using it because you can really get better results with it than without correction. Then I would try that too, because from now on I only want to work with headphones because of the mobility.

Hi,

We're not quite ready to announce what'll be included in Mixcraft 10 yet.
