When is Mixcraft 10 coming out

Hello Everybody, I finally got Mixcraft 9 to work in Ubuntu Studio ASIO. Great. When is mixcraft 10 coming out, and are you still taking suggestions for new features.

Mixcraft 10 is coming along nicely and should hopefully be finished later this year.

Not sure how many new new features we would add to the new features we're already adding at this point, but you can add suggestions to ye olde suggestions topic.

We've already added some popular suggestions from that thread, but it's too soon to talk about details.

Congrats on getting Mixcraft working on Ubuntu!! I tried many years ago and found it very non-intuitive to get the audio set up in Linux. I recall there was a distro that was geared toward audi production that I tried but it was not "out of the box" at all. The draw to me was Linux using less resources - Mixcraft under Linux I assume is more powerful.

What's the earliest version of Windows Mixcraft 10 will work on?

Hi,

Most likely Windows 7 SP 1, but it would have to be 64-bit Windows 7 SP 1.

Mixcraft 10 will require 64-bit Windows (but you can still use 32-bit plugins if needed).

It's getting closer. I'm always going to be vague about any potential release date, because we don't release software before we think it's ready. The release date will depend upon how future testing goes.

Mixcraft 10 is looking pretty good, but there are a mess of little scurrying bugs we're stomping out.

We'll start releasing teasers and such as the time gets closer.

I'm really banking on this one. A lot of the newer plugins and VSTs have scalable interfaces, which make them a joy to use. Mixcraft, not so much. The small fonts are such a pain, especially when doing things like renaming tracks etc.

Very cool. When you guys are comfortable to communicate, I would love to see a list of some of anticipated main changes - assuming they make it successfully through bug testing.
