I'm trying to add 1 second of silence before my recording. I've tried to Select All clips and just manually move them up a second, but it's throwing off the timing of my arp bass track for some reason. (And I'm not able to manually get the sync right by just moving that particular clip around.)
I've read previous forum posts regarding the issue as well as consulting the Mixcraft 9 manual, but I can't get the feature to ungray for anything despite seemingly following the steps.
Any suggestions?

Ok, that worked. Thank you. But I'm having the same issue with the one track--my arp bass--getting thrown off sync. Any recommendations?

Just an update: I was finally able to manually sync, but it'd be nice to know how to tackle in the future.

Hi,
How did you fix the issue manually?
Was it an audio recording? Or a MIDI clip?
Some virtual instruments have a "sync to host" option that you can turn on or off.

I just kept manually nudging the track around until it sounded in sync with the other tracks.

Hi,
It sounds like all the clips were at the same tempo, so that's how you do it.
You can hold down the Ctrl key and use the arrow key to move the clips in small increments, and if you use Shift-Ctrl-arrow, really tiny increments.
But just being aware of your snap setting and moving the clip around is usually enough if everything is at the same tempo.
