Why Am I Being Randomly 'Permanently Banned'

This has now happened 3 times since Monday.

I suspect the new security system. Very often, I have to login again and then sometimes, whilst reading the forum I suddenly get this notice.

Clicking the link 'Board Administrator' does nothing - opens a new blank page.

Sometimes a computer reboot sorts the problems, only to be banned again once I'm on the forums.

EDIT: Now, even while typing this post, I hit 'Preview' and was logged out! Had to log in again.

Maybe it's my age?

For the record, I'm using Win 10 Pro and Microsoft Edge browser.

EDIT : It's happened again 4 times since I posted this 15 minutes ago. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

That is probably due to me being overzealous in my spam control efforts, not the new security measures. See if the problem is fixed now.

Still happening almost every time.

I also have to login each session which I never used to do in the past.

And a few minutes ago when I tried to reply to your comment, when I pressed 'submit', I was immediately banned again!

Just curious, does anyone experiencing this (I am too BTW):

log-in or attempt to log-in on multiple devices?

Click on "remember me" or "keep me logged in" or whatever upon log-in?

Yes, I tried several times and even in a 'Private Window' where I was not logged in.

Whatever it was just kept blocking me, but all good now.

Do y'all get the "I'm not a robot"page to check off to get in? I haven't had any lockouts or other issues as described by you foks.

I have had all the same issues that Trevor is describing, in the last week
The banned notice, log in challenges, being booted while online etc
Seems relatively stable now though
