automatically disarming the input....

Post by basu » Thu May 25, 2023 3:09 am

Hi... I am new here...

I would like to know about automatically disarming input in mixcraft during playback....
My microphone has no on/off switch and I am tired of muting my interface each time I playback...

I have seen this option in cubase... Is it possible in mixcraft....?

Hi,

Mixcraft doesn't have an option to automatically disarm the input during playback. Thanks for the suggestion!

If you're monitoring the input's audio, you could click that off before you play, or you could just use headphones?

Do you perhaps mean recording takes on one track at a time?

If you click the down arrow next to the Arm button and select Recording Mode' then 'Overdub', each take will automatically mute the previous one.
Keep on trackin'

Hi,

Maybe we should ask why you want to do automatically disarm the input.
