I have Mixcraft 9 installed on my main PC but have just installed it onto my travel laptop. Testing the new installation I’ve just spotted the Standard and Acoustica effects aren’t appearing in the pull-down FX menu. I’ve looked at the plug-ins section on the preferences section and the boxes ticked are identical to my main installation (which does have all its FX visible)
Any advice please?

Hi,
What do you mean by "Standard" effects? When you install Mixcraft 9, there's an option to install the legacy plugins. If you don't choose that option, you'd be missing the "Classic" effects, some old Acoustica effects, and the Impulse VSTi. If that's what's happening, just install Mixcraft again and choose to install the legacy plugins.

Good point -that worked. Thanks.. when I initally installed i'd assumed not ticking legacy only removed FX labelled 'legacy' in the menu. it appears I was wrong...
