Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio Looks Amazing!

Post by ADM »

Just got the brand-spankin-new Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio and it looks awesome! :D
Also watched Fans Of Mixcraft's video (which is how I actually found out it was released) I'd recommend giving it a look.

In the meantime, looks like I've got lots to explore...exciting times

Thanks to the Mixcraft Team :D

Me too. I had to go through the website a few times to check if I was reading it right! That's just over £30 in the UK. I can't get my head around it. I'm almost embarrassed to take it off them.

I can't tell you how much of a difference the scaling has made to the user experience (for me anyway). Just being able to see everything clearly now instead of miniscule text everywhere is such a gamechanger for me. I'm so happy.

I was checking the status of the release earlier in the day, then my YouTube feed showed me around 8 PM that it was released; by 8:10 it was mine!

Installed it and launched it, but haven't had a chance to play with it at all. Really looking forward to this, sounds like the MIDI routing issue has been fixed. That alone is worth their meager upgrade asking price. Wish all companies who updated their products would treat their returning customers as kindly when upgrading to the newest version.

I heard about it via the youtube video you mentioned last night. Haven't received an announcement email or anything yet, so I guess they're doing a soft launch to not blow up the site all at once. Like you, I also thought the visuals were stunning. The midi routing was the star of the show for me though - and it seems like an important feature for what I expect to be a growing range of generative tools in addition to what is already here. It had me rewatching a Jamstix virtual drummer tutorial late last night that generates drum arrangements on the fly. I suspect in the coming years we'll start seeing even richer versions virtual drummers that can listen to a riff/song and provide an appropriate drum midi options with appropriate fills and accents to match emphasis in the music. The midi routing support I think helps Mixcraft be part of that in a more flexible way.

Price has now gone up to $149. That $39 had to be a site error, surely??

No, the price for Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio is $149. But if you are logged into your account and have not yet purchased, you'll see your personal upgrade price based on what you already have registered. The upgrade page lists all the options: https://acoustica.com/products/mixcraft ... de-pricing

Gotcha. That's ok then. Still a ridiculous price. I was armed with cash. Mixcraft have missed a trick here, I think. But I'm locked in for life now that it's scalable.

Yes! Thanks for expanding the color options. Very useful for a visual user like myself.

I do find the track view a bit too shallow for my taste when the mixer window is open. If I used a second monitor it wouldn't matter. But I can always undock it I guess.

Otherwise looking great.

Oh, and the light theme almost looks like Pro Tools, but better. Nice job!
