Plugins which cause problems with Mixcraft

Hi,

Topic for plugins which have compatibility issues with Mixcraft.

1. Effect "Youlean loudness meter" on (Mixcraft 9 and 10) causes project file (.mx9 or .mx10) size increase on every save. My project file increased around 70MB and one forum user had over 400MB project file size. So if wanna use "Youlean loudness meter" better remove plugin after every use.

2. Effect "Fresh Air" on Mixcraft 9. Caused few huge sudden explosions and collapsed taking down some other plugins on the line. Mixcraft 10 has safe mode option for VST2 but i wont touch this plugin anymore.

Hi,

Which version of Youlean Loudness meter are you using? See if they have an update. We’ll check this out, but we need details.

The problem with that other plugin probably won’t happen in Mixcraft 10. Give it a try if you care.

Im using latest stable version: youlean loudness meter 2 v.2.4.3 (free version). There is also available beta version which i have not tested.
I tested today with Mixcraft 10, plugin v.2.4.3 and still gets increasing .mx10 filesize on every save. Its easy to follow in backup folder.

How are you using it? How many instances are in the project? Is it just on the Master track?

Also, 32-bit or 64-bit? VST2 or VST3?

Yes, forgot to mention =)

I have 64 bit versions VST2 and VST3 and using it only on master track.
Just tried both version on master track with one single loop in project. After every saving project file grows.

We've duplicated the problem and we're filing a bug report.

Note: this issue also occurs in Mixcraft 8 and 9.
