Assigning Sidechain Source to Activate Waves C6 Multiband Compressor

Post by rcorbett263 »

Hi Everyone. Hoping someone might be able to help me with this one.

I'm trying to use the Waves C-6 sidechain using the vocal track to activate the C6 on some of the mids of an instrumental track. Routine stuff, but I have no idea where to set the side chain source from when running it in Mixcraft! In other DAWs it's at the top.

Any hints please?

Hi,

Try the VST3 version of the plugin instead of the VST2 version.

Thanks Greg. That did it. Knew I would have been doing something stupid.
