Kilohearts Essentials
A very nice suite of free, no-nonsense effect plugins. Perhaps Acoustica might even be interested including some or all of these in future releases...

Re: Kilohearts Essentials
Given they already provide the ToneBooster suite (which is great IMO), I doubt it. But those with serious GAS (or the plugin version of it) might want to check it

Re: Kilohearts Essentials
I do like the hard limiter. Simple and effective.
Re: Kilohearts Essentials
I like the look of the UIs. I may have to check out for the heck of it. See what you have done
Re: Kilohearts Essentials
I've tried these plugins and I have to say that they are really clean and simple in their structure and seem to use very less CPU. In the end I ended up with these plugins in a kind of sound design process. From my point of view, these plugins are really recommendable if you know exactly what you want at a specific point.
Good recommendation

Re: Kilohearts Essentials
Too many people are swayed by the fancy look of a plugin's UI, rather than its simple usability. That's something the likes of Plugin Boutique is fond of taking advantage of.

I use the KHs Gain at the top of each track. Makes things so much easier when adjusting levels. I like 'em.

I use 2 KHs gain effects in a row at the beginning, then I have the opportunity to raise the level if the gain comes out too quietly with the first effect

Re: Kilohearts Essentials
Just a joke The more I do with the simple KHs plugins, the more I like it. You can really fit a sound into a mix by chaining several of them together. Boring sounds can be easily transformed with it.

Gotcha. Yeah I agree. I like the Reverb and Delay for that extra kick.
