How to work with Behringer umc1820 and Mixcraft?
I finally downloaded the software for my Behringer umc1820, But I can't figure out how to make it work. I go to "Preferences" in Mixcraft, but it doesn't give me eight options for input. I thought drivers just worked in the background. This acts like it wants me to do something else. Can someone tell me what I'm missing.

Hi,
Once you've got the latest driver installed, go into Mixcraft's sound device preferences and choose ASIO mode. Make sure you select your Behringer's driver in the ASIO Device setting.
When you arm the track, click on the small arrow next to the Arm button on an audio track:
Arming option 1 on the left gives you input 1.
Arming option 1 on the right gives you input 2.
Option 2 on the left is input 3.
Option 2 on the right is input 4.
And so on...

I have the USB plugged into both the interface and computer. I shows that I have UMC Asio drivers but they don't show up on the list.
I tried to post a screenshot, but I don't know if it worked. The list is blank.

Hi,
Try downloading and installing the latest driver from Behringer's download page: https://www.behringer.com/downloads.html
Also make sure that you've got the correct option selected in the ASIO Device setting.

These are the same drivers I downloaded before. I did it again just to be safe.
One picture will show that the driver is there. The other picture will show the number of inputs, or lack there of.

Hi,
maybe I'm experiencing it too much, but:
do you have the correct driver version installed?
Is the UMC plugged in and turned on?
I know that the ASIO4ALL driver also works with UMC in some cases. All the best

...You can see if the UMC is functional even before you open the MC.
right click sound click on: Playback device on the Sound tab, UMC1820 must be active, set, enable
