Well I am sorry guys.. I loaded a 4 minute TSO song. TSO songs are normally right on meter but this one is not. The sheet music says 120 BPM but I found that 109.7 comes closer. But autowarp did NOTHING for me.. Nothing is on click as the song goes on... it is all over the place. Every Youtube video I watched said it is the "cat's meow".. Well not for me. I must be doing something wrong. The reason I am being so picky with is I am trying to sequence the song into my christmas light show on my house...

Cheers

What's the songs title, Pierre? Or can you post a YouTube link and I'll have a go at it for you.

After all - it's Christmas! :D

Hey Trev....
Here is a sample of what I do when I am not "making" music.
Each one of those little blinking lights is a smart LED with a micro controller costing 27 cents each.. Of course there is hardware to control all of them.. It takes me about 30-45 minutes to program 20 seconds into each of those sequences..
Here, have a look and listen

Wow! Very impressive. :D

That would be beyond my scope though, I was thinking more in terms of synching your track to a fixed bpm in Mixcraft.

There seems to be ritardando's in the TSO link and other time changes. Is the goal to make it all fall under one BPM from start to finish? You might have to slice it up and do it in sections to sync it.

Thanks Cactus... Yes, ideally that would the goal one BPM start to finish. If you watched my sample, knowing the time of each note in milliseconds ( 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and whole) is important. I lay down timing tracks for each of those in multiples of 25 milliseconds. So, for example, another TSO song Winter Palace. If you listen to just the piano part in the beginning. According to the sheet music (I am a big TSO fan have seen them 13 times and have all their music books) those are all 1/16th notes. So for that sequence I set a timing track for 50 milliseconds and it stays pretty constant throughout the whole song. So if it is necessary to break it up, maybe into 3 sections, I could live with that I think.

Trev,
I am not asking you to sequence all my lights.. But if we could make that song settle in on one BPM , that would be awesome

Cheers
