Roland have just released a new platform that consolidates all of their instruments into one mega sprawling metropolis!

At first look, it appears very similar to NI's Kontakt 7, which I am no big fan of. You can now layer any of the instruments and other cool stuff, I believe. I'm still trying to make sense of it all.

Oh, I like that. I own the Korg Collection. All the VSTs fly around individually and the update is annoying via single zip files for each Instrument. I think the Roland approach is much better. Hopefully Korg will take a look at this.

Yeah, I have the Korg Collection 4 too and the installer sucks!

Have you tried the new Roland App yet? Can't get mine to work at the mo. I've got no sound and it doesn't show up in Mixcraft?

Not yet. But I'll try it next week. But what you say doesn't sound so good at first

It looks like DAW support is not available for it yet?? But at least I've now got the Standalone up and running.

Dear Lord Roland! What have you done?? This thing is insane! It's everything Kontakt 7 should be and more! Going to have lots of fun playing with this!
