Hello All,
This is embarrassing to say the least after 5 or 6 years of using Mixcraft, but here goes, I can take it (I think). Using MC 9 Pro and just upgraded to Melodyne Assistant. I'm trying to, or ensure that, the edits I make on my lead Vocal down in the sound tab area using Melodyne is actually part of my lead Vocal track. When I add Melodyne to the track as the 1st plug-in, using the FX button on the track, Melodyne just seems to be an empty and a (ready to go) plug-in with nothing happening. Do I need to duplicate or re-record or something? Bottom line is I want to send some tracks out for mixing with my Vocal track Imbedded with my Melodyne edits, not to mention, what if who I send it to doesn't use Melodyne.
Thanks To All!

Re: Imbedding Melodyne
Hi,
If you're using Melodyne on the sound tab, you don't need to also add it as an effect. Any pitch changes you make should show up in the mixed-down audio file or stems.
