hello, I have downloaded this fx but its not loading. I directed MC to the folder containing the .dll but it is not recognized. any ideas?

Hi,

Which DLL? Complex plugins have both VST DLLs and non-VST DLLs. Generally, the VST DLL gets installed into a VST folder somewhere.

Are you still using Mixcraft 9? If so, is it Mixcraft 9 build 470?

hey Greg I'm talking the only one I can find. Installed in; C> program files>VstPlugins> Efx REFRACT.dll. It works in another DAW. Yes, MC Pro V.470

Hi,

Quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\

Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

The problem was that it shows up as EFX Refract, not Arturia EFX Refract. Sometimes those plugins show up with unexpected names.
