7 string metal preset not right

Hi all,

I have Mixcraft 10 pro. Just noodling around tonight and the 7-string metal preset shown just isn't right. It's not distorted at all. I thought all these presets were baked into Mixcraft? Definitely something missing here? Any thoughts guys?

My preset for the 7-string metal guitar has the Voxengo Amp Simulator (Legacy) as one of the effects.
I'm running Mixcraft 10.1 Pro Studio Build 579.

Hi,

If you look at the velocity setting in the preset, the guitars don't fully kick in unless the velocity of the notes is above 95.

Nah that's not it Greg. Looks like the Voxengo amp simulator is missing as per HtosDrol's post. Any idea why

I have deleted Mixcraft 9 recently. Any chance the baby was thrown out with the bath water?

Can this stuff be restored?

Hi,

Click on the Store tab in Mixcraft and find the Legacy Bundle, then install that.

This gives you some old 32-bit plugins that are now optional, including Voxengo Amp Simulator.
