Hi,

With Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio, you can record the output of plugins - audio or MIDI. You arm the plugin with that option, then you choose the plugin as your recording device on an audio track or a virtual instrument track. People were requesting the ability to record MIDI that way for a long time to record the output of arpeggiator and chord plugins, but we also threw in the ability to record audio, so you could record just the reverb from a track or just the delay for interesting mixing options.

Lots of Jam Origin MIDI Guitar users wanted this, for example.

Thank you for explaining Greg. I'm one of the people who wanted this feature. Can you add this to be filmed as a video for Mixcraft 10 University?

Hi,

We've posted a full round of basic tutorial videos, and I believe the plan is to have a new set that includes more advanced features like that.

But, have you tried it? It should be pretty straightforward. Where are you getting stuck?

There's also the new MIDI Src option in Pro Studio, which prevents the original notes being played from passing through the arpeggiator or chords plugin to the instrument being controlled.
