[Mixcraft 8]
Hi all, is there a way that when I move a track content further up or down, that the automation ALSO follows along? I always have to redo the automation, volume, effect, pan, every time I move a portion (stem?) on the track. Which leads to undesirable results and time wasted.
Before moving the track.
After moving the track. The automation does not follow.
See? Not a good outcome. Any idea how to stick automation to a particular track point?
Thanks!
Andre

Hi,
In Mixcraft 10, you can hold down the Ctrl key when you drag the clip.
In Mixcraft 8, you can use Insert Time to move the whole project over, including the automation.
Or, you could cut and paste the automation.

Of course, Greg, however - not to belabor the point - I have not found a GUI that inspires a more fluid workflow for me than MX8. It's really sad, but I said all this before. When you guys have a GUI that's easier on the eyes and allowing to visually quickly GPS my eyes to the functions, etc.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:29 pm ...and of course, upgrading to Mixcraft 10 is a swell solution!
