Extract chords to midi

Post by Gusher »

Is there a way to extract chord progressions from an audio file to midi?
The way chordify.com does it, one track for bass and the other for treble...

You can do this in Melodyne if you have it installed. In mixcraft you need to right click on the audio file and select "Convert audioclip to MIDI".

Tried that before but it's not what I want, that method extracts gibberash
mess of the whole song and not the chord progression..

Hi,

Melodyne can do it, but you need a higher version with a polyphonic algorithm.

All the best

No, already used polyphonic and that's not what I need...
You need to try chordify.com premium version so you
can understand what chord progressions are and try
chord to midi feature...
