Mixcraft 10: LFO controllers for vst effects are disappearing upon saving and exiting/reloading. Also copying effects with Random LFOs to other tracks makes all of the controls sync to the same position on every parameter, unless I disable and re-enable each controller. Current build.
In other news, Melodyne isn't allowing me to open the scale tab in Mixcraft.

Hi,
"Current" means build 587, right?
Are you talking about the LFO controllers?
If so, what about audio or MIDI controllers?

Re: LFOs not saving
Yes Build 587. Audio controllers aren't saving either, any controller disappears when I close the program and reopen the project. And Midi CC as effect controller isn't working at all; I've tried using CC from vst instruments, I've tried hand drawing them on the track from which I'm using midi for the effect, I've tried playing with external hardware controllers. That whole section seems to be bugged out.

Re: LFOs not saving
UPDATE AFTER FURTHER TESTING: The LFO controllers will save on Individual Track effects, but not on Master Track effects. Audio controllers will save on Individual Track effects, but crashes Mixcraft if I try to save the project with them on Master Track effects. Midi CC controllers still aren't working at all.

Re: LFOs not saving
Hi,
Thank you for reporting the crash problem and the saving problem with LFO and audio controllers. These may already be fixed in the next update, and if they are not, I've filed a bug on it.
When you say that the MIDI controller doesn't work, what do you mean? I'm able to use it with MIDI learn and an external controller.
How are you trying to use the MIDI controller? What's going wrong?
Greg

Re: LFOs not saving
Hi again,
The problem with the LFO and Audio controllers only happens if the master track is hidden, so the workaround for now would be to keep the master track displayed. (There's an option to do that by default in the new project default settings).

Fixed in build 591 (which we're still testing internally).

Re: LFOs not saving
That is such a relief to hear about the fix (and the workaround), thank you!
The problem I'm having with MIDI:
I can't seem to control vst effect parameters on an Audio Track using MIDI CC from an Instrument Track.
EXAMPLE:
On the Audio Track's Effect List, I choose "Use MIDI From Track: 1"
and then on the Effect Plugin Controller, I choose CC 2 to control "Rate" (or any parameter of the Audio track's effect plugin),
but it does not respond to CC from Track 1 (an instrument track).
I've tried drawing the modulation on Track 1's instrument clip (CC 2 - Breath Controller), and I've tried using (3rd party) CC sequencer instruments on Track 1, and I've tried arming track 1 with hardware controllers, but none of them are working for me to control the parameters on my Audio Track's effect plugin.
I hope that makes some kind of sense. Thanks

Hi,
That MIDI control option is for use with external controllers, like a using knob on on a MIDI controller keyboard.
The "Use MIDI From..." option sends the MIDI straight to the effect plugin itself, so the plugin would have to be designed to respond to MIDI input for it to work.
