Anti-virus warning about Mixcraft 10.5

Post by Ray Cube »

I've just download the updates now.
It triggered an antivirus security alert but was subsequently released for use.
Correction. the program has now frozen. Can't shut it down via Task Manager. Will attempt a reboot.

Hi,

Sometimes anti-virus programs get overly rambunctious. You could upload that file to Avast's false positive page.

Also, make sure you have the latest virus definitions for Avast in case they already fixed it.

Sorry Greg.
Posted my last reply in the wrong topic.
I rebooted the computer and tried again. Got the same warning but this time afterwards got an all clear message from Avast.
Have been playing with the A.I. track splitter. The manual describes the results quite accurately 🤣😃 but what fun! and definitely a tool to help understand how a particular part could be played to practice alongside. I also like the ability to see what plugins are working and listed into sections. 👍
I'm not as worried that my MIDI controller is not on the list as the MIDI learn function has been one of the easiest I've ever had to use.
Ray.
