Can anybody more skilled with midi and or drumming create a midi file of the main drum beat in "If" by Janet Jackson? I attempted creating stems then using convert to midi on the drum track and it's no where close.

You have to use the MIDI Swing parameters to get that kind of groove. And of course, you'll need to use the appropriate samples and effects.

Here is the main groove as a midi for kick, snare and HH. You can expand it as much as you like. Of course, that's not 100 percent the same, but the same swing is in it
