Video Rendering issue with Mixcraft 9 and 10

Post by ascensionism »

I have an issue with Mixcraft 9 and 10. Whenever I try to render a video, it takes hours and still doesn't go past 17%. I've tried rendering in every file format available in MC. The original video file is sd_640_360_25fps, 1.22 MB MP4 file
Even still, I've tried different input video files
I've tried ripping the MP3 of the song Into a new file, and copying the video file into that new mixcraft file.
I've also tried moving the location of the source video file.

Yet the exact same problem exists, no matter what I've tried.

The issue exists regardless of Mixcraft version, video file I use, audio file I use or any other variable.

Please help

These are my system settings:
Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
HDD: 512mb SSD, 134GB space available
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 23H2
OS build 22631.3447

Hi.
I have just tried exporting a video in Mixcraft Pro 10 in Windows 10 Enterprise using mp4 4K files at 23.98fps and exporting to the highest setting possible within Mixcraft 10.
The first thing I notice is that Mixcraft heavily used all cores of my Intel i9900K but did not use it's inboard graphics chip, but instead used my nvidia 3060 but barely used it for video decoding as well as 3D at less than 18% of usage most of the time.
The program gave a decent 4K video of approximately 4 minutes length that took approximately 28 minutes to render.

Check to see what is doing which bit and by how much using Task Manager.

Hi,

Are you using Mixcraft 10.5 build 596? Restart your computer and try it again. If it takes forever, go into Mixcraft's General preferences, click Upload Log Files, and then let us know you did that.
