Can I record guitar one track 1 and sing on track 2 at the same time?

Post by Veets »

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Mixcraft 10.5 and have an external audio device, Roland Quad-Core Capture. I tried to arm 2 tracks at the same time so that I can play guitar and sing at the same time as opposed to overdubbing vocals later. I wasn't able to get it to work but I was able to get it to work in another daw, which i am not crazy about. Has anyone accomplished this with Mixcraft?

Thanks!

Hi,

Just arm one track for the input that has the vocals and arm another track for the guitar.

Left is generally input 1 and right is input 2.

Mixcraft 10 has the added benefit of having level indicators for individual inputs to make this easier to figure out.
