Mixcraft 4.0 Conversion

Post by Pacificcoastpercussion »

Hi Folks,
This is my first time posting on this forum. I hope to contribute and learn as much as I can with this program.

Question: Can I slow down the song of an MP3 or WAV with out losing the pitch? I'm a drummer and I picked a ZOOM H2 to bring in my files, but I need to slow them down so I can pick and learn the patterns. Is it possible to do this with Mixcraft 4?

Thanks for your suggestions and assistance! :D

Hi,

Yes, you can do that with Mixcraft in several different ways. One quick and easy way is to use Mixcraft's FlexAudioÔäó feature. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag out the end of the sound to the desired length, thereby slowing it down.

If you haven't already done so, check out the How Audio video tutorials for Mixcraft. They are really helpful.
