Free Refire Drum processing chain VST3

Post by Mixel »

Hello Mixcraft User

Today I would like to recommend the Outobugi website for freeware plugins. MacOS users are at a disadvantage here, however, because its VST3 plugins are only for Windows. My personal recommendation on the Outobugi website is the "Refire Drum processing chain VST3 plugin", which can help you get to grips with all the problems that a drum can cause in the DAW. You can get to Outobugi's homepage with the VST3 freeware plugins here:

Drum processing chain to make your drums sound punchy.

BANG:
Transient shaper. Size controls the amplitude of the shaper envelope and Level sets the base amplitude where the shaper is added.

HEAT:
Three different types of distortion. TANH, ATAN and SIN. This effect is applied after SUB.

SUB:
Bass oscillator for kick drums. Uses dry input for kick detection. Pitch ranges from C1 to C2. Decay is the release of smoothed detection envelope.

TONE:
High shelf (Air) and tilt filters. Noise is a white noise generator with envelope shaping.

CLIPPER:
Soft/hard clipper.

BOTTOM PANEL:
In and Out gain. Low-pass and high-pass filters. Stereo width and Mix.

The Outobugi Refire VST3 drum processing chain plugin is the best problem solver for drums that I have ever had and it's also freeware. I can recommend this plugin to any Mixcraft user who wants to get more out of their drum track.
