I don't know which forum this belongs to. I hope it is right here.
It hasn't been so long since I got the Komplete Kontrol 88 key keyboard, and I am not familiar with all the possibilities I got there. So far, I just used it for playing and without problems.
I updatedto the latest Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio.
I recently bought Komplete 15 and installed the most recent updates. I am not sure if it included a Komplete keyboard update.
I noticed that certain keys don't work anymore as they should now, C1, C#1, D1, D#1, F1 and G1.
They do some other things instead.
C1 turns on/off the "solo" option in the DAW.
C#1 sets the mark back 1/8 beat.
D1 makes the track ready for recording.
And so on ...
The notes can still be played, if I switch to a higher or lower octave. But the keys keep their strange function.
This issue seems to happen only when I use Mixcraft (newest version), but not when I use f.e. the Kontakt player stand alone app.
In addition, the Play button, the Record button, and the Stop Button are playing notes now, i.e. A6, Bb6 and B6.
This issue also persists in the Kontakt stand alone app, so it seems not to be DAW related.
I have now idea why this happened and how I can reset they keyboard to the original settings.
I already completely de- and reinstalled Komplete Kontrol and ran the KKS MK2 Firmware Updater, but that didn't helped.
Did someone encounter a similar issue and has a suggestion how to solve this problem?
Or is it an issue in the recent Mixcraft version?

Komplete Kontrol 88 is controlled via "NKS". https://www.native-instruments.com/de/s ... is-is-nks/

I don't know what to do with this information. Is this supposed to be a solution to the problem?

Hi,
It sounds like some keyboard keys got accidentally MIDI-mapped. Click on the Mix menu in Mixcraft and select Edit MIDI Control Surface Settings. Next, click the "Reset All" button.
That should fix the problem. Or, you could also un-learn those controls one by one. Just right-click on a control in MIDI learn mode to un-learn them or reassign them.

Oh, I didn't receive notice of the reply.
Thanks for the suggestion.
The issue already resolved in another way, changing from Wavetable sounds to Asio somehow reassigned the keys and it works now as it should. But strange that this happened.
