Boston - More than a feeling cover

Post by D.B »

Hi everybody we made new cover of Boston - More than a feeling.
It was performed live.
We use mixer Behringer XR12, Yamaha PSR SX700 for drums and bass and i use Mooer GE1000 guitar multieffect.
And of course, Mixcraft RS10 its the best DAW for music production!
Enjoy and have a nice rest of the day.

Nice effort. Not the easiest song to cover, but the singer did a good job. I hear that you tried to emulate Scholz´s mid range sound. I read somwhere that he recorded the guitarsolo six times on top of eachother to get that shimmering sound.

First of all thank you,
Yes i tried to get a guitar sound like Tom Scholz, but this is a live performance, it's not really studio-processed
except mastering, so it's impossible to make a multi track with one guitar...
Tom Scholz is an extraordinary musician and a genius

Hi guys: Impossible song to cover, the original record version is a masterful production as well as impossible talents to imitate.
I agree that Tom is a genius. He was already a successful scientist before Boston. You guys put in some work here and it shows, you play pretty well for a party band, especially when you set the bar so incredibly high with More than a Feeling. Please cover more stuff and post it all.

You guys are truly fearless. As mentioned, crazy hard song to cover. This is a great job. I would suggest overdubbing some backing vocals, and also making the existing vocal a bit louder.
