Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
If not suggested already, the ability to draw curved cc automation lines would be great.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
My # 1 suggestion is to allow clip gain automation, where you could select a section of a track and turn the gain (not volume) up or down and have the waveform's size adjusted so we can see the impact visually as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

1. Mouse wheel support on all controls like send knobs etc.
2. And Ctrl+Mouse Wheel for micro changes.
3. And Ctrl+DblClick to set controls to 0 or reset to default

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Clip naming instead of just track naming.
If you have a recording of like 20~30 sounds, putting each individual sound on a different track to be mixed down into separate sound files is very time consuming.
Expecially if you have 5 or 10 recordings.
A faster way to do this would be cool.
Right now I'm using submixes which kinda helps but...
very many clicks to do things.

Hi,
To rename a clip, select it and look at the Sound tab. Over on the left, there's a box that you can use to name the clip. This also works for a group of selected clips so you can rename them all at once.
And in order to load sounds into Mixcraft, you can select multiple clips in Windows File Explorer to drag and drop them into Mixcraft all at once.

Awesome! Sorry I missed that.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 12:24 pm Hi,

I was right clicking to "Rename."
Another suggestion coming:
Ability to hide controls to view more of the name text.
I was making some "gun" sounds, and so I have magazine remove, magazine insert, pull back, let go, etc. All in one really long recording with my audio recorder.
Some of these names are really long.
"Gun Name Release Slide."
"Gun Name Release Slide with Slide Catch."
"Gun Name Shoot"
"Gun Name Shoot Far Away"
"Gun Name Shoot Behind Wall"
If I could use the dropdown to "toggle view more of name" or something that'd be really cool. A lot of these names are cut off.
I know I can drag the panel longer out to the side, but for like compact viewing.
Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
As far as the clip renaming, simply adding the number to the clip like Reaper does would be exceptional. It's in the Windows directory, so it should not be difficult to add it to the view in the GUI, or at least to make it a preference if not everyone finds this useful. I know you can do the right click thing, but it would be nice to go the other direction, to look a file in a directory and to easily be able to tell if it is in the track. I know that audio tracks will delete automatically if they are not in the project, but tracks recorded through an interface do not.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Please would the Mixcraft team consider adding the capability to route send track outputs to a submix track on the next version. The reason for this request is to enable parallel effects loops (as shown in attached photo) to be set up as child tracks within a project to make it more manageable.
Thanks in advance for considering this.

I'd like to see this too. It would be very useful for putting effects in parallel as child tracks in a submix.Mark Bliss wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 4:52 pmLooks left.Would also like a way to have send returns be routed to submixes.
Looks right.
How many versions have I been asking for this "fix"?
I have lost track. Long ago.
Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
1. Colours; Various colour palette option to chose from (including earlier version Mixcraft colours)
2. Non sticky midi editor playhead. M10 has lost ability to easily click previous bar to jump back while playing, need to click many times...
3. Mixcraft 9 Pro style midi editor; notes looks like sharp, rectangular and in beautiful blue colour. Also choosing multiple notes was easy on M9
4. List of plugins and instruments used during the session (with presets & parameters etc.). Could be a "save session report" option in menu.
5. Quick scan option for audio files to report peaks, dips, LUFS etc. Flags placed automatically based the results.

Hi USCGT35,
For number 2, both the main time line and the MIDI editor time line respond to clicking before or after the current playing position and the playback will jump. Note the examples are not simultaneous but captured at different times and each is being controlled by clicking in its own timeline:
For number 3, the MIDI editor notes have color options. This makes it a bit more flexible than in MC 9. In the above example, there is a blue circle next to the words "Snap: Grid." This allows you to select the color that the MIDI notes use. By default, they inherit the color of the clip. However, the velocity will lighten or darken the note as a visual indicator. Also, there are different color options for channel, note value and whether or not the note is in the chosen scale. The scale option is only useful if the scale is NOT chromatic.

Hello Cactus-head
For the no 2, it is the case for me. I did not observe same "stickiness" on M9. When I compared the two, M10 is more frustrating while for example editing drums, going back and forth to listen. Sometimes I need to click few times to place playhead to one of the previous/next bar.
I made a little demo (link below), you can see on M10 some times black vertical line appears on click but playhead doesn't move to that position, few more clicks required and it is weird.

For main time line I have no issues.
No 3; I noticed the different colour options and scales changed tone of the colour which is a good thing maybe for some.
Although I prefer M9 in this department any time.
Thank you for your detailed reply.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi, the black line happens because on the click you are moving the mouse slightly and that causes a sort of "micro selection." that black line is actually a selection. You have to be sure when you click not to drag the mouse at all or don't double click rapidly. Your mouse may be old and the buttons very sensitive.
