war with the mic help

i have a rockvills RCM01 .
this thing should be so hot but i changed some things in the computer settings and i dont know what i did
it sounds muddy and if i turn it up its very airy and recording i get poping.
i updated my drivers . i dont know what type of info you all need to help me get everything back to the way it was.
mixcraft is awsome

Hi,

Maybe you just need to work on microphone positioning? If the input level is low, you'll hear the floor noise when you crank up the volume.

Does it require Phantom Power?

It does require phantom power, so make sure that's hooked up.

thank you for the responce`s
i accidentally found what happened.... my computer redirected my headphone mic as the one(pink)but in fact its the green plugged into the green
and connected that one all by itself now i have it redirected and everything is normal.
