Hello!
I just bought a Minilab 3 after years of using a generic midi keyboard. I'm more of a casual dabbler in music production as I prefer analog garage recording of Punk bands.
This Minilab 3 is very nice and came with its own software, but I am a Mixcraft fanatic for more than 20 years! How can I use the Minilab and its many great synths and sounds the way I can use the Omnisampler for example? You know, you have the virtual instrument you select Omnisampler and it opens up a virtual station where you can select all the options and play.
Is the Minilab 3 compatible with the newest Mixcraft like that?

Hi,
I think they have a plugin called Analog Lab you can use. You might check that out.
Otherwise, you can use Mixcraft's MIDI Learn option to map the controls of your keyboard, or you could go into Mixcraft's Control Surface preferences to select Mackie Control. (Refer to your Minilab 3 manual for information on using Mackie Control.

Greg,
I downloaded all of software that was licensed to me through my purchase including Analog Lab V and yes! It was one of my options when I searched in the Instrument preset search box. I am now using my Arturia Lab with all of its instruments, thank you!
