pops and clicks in the recordings - need some help

i'm getting a lot of clicks on my audio recordings.
I'm using a

- windows vista
- ASIO drivers on the preferences tab
- M-Audio Mobilepre USB preamp

is that enough info? i've done everything that the help file says to do with this problem but it's not working.
I would really appreciate some help with this problem.

Hi,

Try going into the Sound Device preferences, clicking Open Mixer, and increasing the latency setting a bit. Does that help?

What version and build of Mixcraft are you using?

Hi,

Try it with the latest version of Mixcraft.

...and turn up the latency a bit.
