Hi, I recently upgraded to windows 7 from XP. I forgot to back up a song that I'd been working on in Mixcraft. I never mixed it down. I still have all the files saved in the windows.old folder (which basically takes you to all your old documents). I have found all the wave files that comprise the song, and the ipk files that should tell the wave files were to go, but the mxc file is nowhere to be found.
Is there a way to get Mixcraft to open the ipk files?
Thanks!!
ipk files and track retrieval

Hi,
No, .ipk files are just temp files that don't have the info you need. What you are looking for is .sgp files if you were working with MP3 Audio Mixer.
Mixcraft 2 can load MP3 Audio Mixer files (.sgp files), but newer versions of Mixcraft can't.
