Harmony Improvisator QUESTION

Can Harmony Improvisator be used with Mixcraft? If so, can someone give me some specific instructions on how? I have it installed and I can load it in Mixcraft. I know it has something to do with routing.

Hi,

Mixcraft 5 doesn't have a feature that would allow you to use MIDI to control an effect. We hope to have that feature in Mixcraft 6, which is due out around the end of the year.

Is there some freeware program I can try? I just want to at least write down the chords I hear with it (once I can hear it)?
