Synth building in Mixcraft?

Post by Anorax »

Would anyone be interested in a Mixcraft-friendly "Synth builder"?
Technically, it would be several mini-plugins that can be streamed together in as many instances as your system can handle.

because I don't know if Mixcraft can interpret more than 2 outputs, it will be wired like this:

[Oscillator plug] -> [Effects] -> [Master (Pan and level adj]
The Oscillator plug would be opened the usual way- in the VSTi panel, and would contain 2 oscillators.
In compliance with Synthedit, the oscillators can have two outputs: right and left.

The effects (including filters) would be, well, effects. they would be "stereo" in order to read the data tracks seperately.

The Mastering plug would control the pan of the final product...

The idea is building a Mixcraft-friendly synth that is virtually infinite by taking advantage of the way Mixcraft handles effect plugins. So [virtually] infinite oscillators, filters, bitcrushers, flangers, and other whatnot. (This will also mean you can stream other 3rd party effects, as long as they output as left + right seperately).
