Hi,
I'm a newbie here. (Not a computer newbie, I build and maintain my own PCs. I am reasonably facile with PCs and music software.)
Today, I downloaded and am tried to install Beatcraft to check it out. It sounds like the tool I need for creating drum tracks.
My system:
Core i5 2.66 ghz, 2GB RAM 124GB HDD on C: (124GB free space)
Win XP SP3
I start with 124GB of HDD space, and the installation runs for a *long* time. The installation never completes, and I get an out of disk space error. After receiving this error, I then have 124kb of HDD space on C:.
In C:/Program Files/Acoustica Beatcraft/
there is one file - ~GLH002.TMP at 130,603,168 MB (124 GB!).
Beatcraft is not listed under Add/Remove Programs.
I have tried installing with miminum software running (basically some security proggies).
I would really like to try the program, but after 3 unsuccessful attempts (each with the same error) iam stuck.
Thanks for any assistance!

Re: Beatcraft installation problems (not enough disk)
Hi,
Make sure you've got a good functional copy of the installation file. Check that your security software is not blocking the installation. Some security programs balk at those TMP files for some reason.
